Robert Burko discusses’ the seven practices he channels into his business that has resulted in the success he possesses today.

  1. Fail

Failure equals a supply of learning opportunities that you can continue to strive to improve throughout your business. Not one person on this planet is a perfect example of a trade. There are always new and improved options that you can implement in your company. Our world is constantly evolving and with that comes change.

As an entrepreneur, you are going to experience failure and that is okay, as long as you learn for it and take it as a way for you to gather more information. Constantly have the mindset to never give up but rather how do I get better?

2. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it?

If your company is already experiencing success and all operations are running “fine” why fix it? Shouldn’t you stay consistent in the methods that are working well for you now? Absolutely not, due to the fact that there are always competitors in your field looking to create something bigger and better than you!

If you believe traditional marketing has proven to work for your business and you are able to sustain revenue through that, great! Eventually however when digital marketing is the only means to marketing to consumers you will have a huge knowledge gap compared to your industry. Allowing your competitors to be ahead of the game.

3. Jack of all trades is the master of none

When running a business make sure you have the best in class solutions for your clients. By doing so you need to hire top talent in many different categories.
